Met up at my place in SF and decided we were headed Northbound, destination wherever.

Morning view of the campsite at MacKerricher State Park. The Pacific Ocean is just beyond that bridge at the top right, pretty amazing place for us to camp. Passed out the sight of stars, the sounds of ocean waves crashing in, and the rustling of critters in the trees.

Road side streams lined with age old beasts of trees, the silence of the forest is perfect. Trickling streams and singing birds.
This log was not a log, it was an ice sickle. So sketchy to cross.
Last stop before heading back to the urban sprawl we call home was the Drive Through A Tree Park in Leggett, CA. The Tree is 21 feet wide at it's largest point and is 2400 years old, pretty wild.
My camera died at this point, but the rest of the ride home was a breeze. The 101 South from where we were until you get to Ukiah can't really be beat. You are surrounded by mountains and it's absolutely gorgeous, to me it seems like a mix between Oregon and how I imagine Montana to be in my mind. Hopefully gonna get up to both of those places this summer!!
